Five games into 12U Gold he's 0-for-6, but read the six at-bats: five balls in play that found gloves and a single strikeout — the contact is there, the hits haven't landed yet. Everything else has: six walks, ten stolen bases, seven runs scored, and on Sunday a one-inning relief outing that earned him the win in a walk-off. Over his last seven he's reaching base at a .500 clip with thirteen steals.
